Dear esteemed members of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea,
I am Hyung-Sik Kim, the 54th President of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea (PSK).
As we welcome the hopeful year of 2025, I extend my sincerest wishes for good health and happiness to all our members and their families. This year is said to symbolize growth, adaptability, and transformation, making it a time of great change and new opportunities. I sincerely hope that this year brings positive changes and growth to all of you. Despite the ongoing domestic and global challenges, I deeply admire and support the passionate academic efforts of our members in advancing pharmaceutical sciences, developing new drugs, and educating the next generation of pharmacists.
hrough our members' unwavering dedication and support, PSK has continued to grow even in the face of difficulties. I am truly honored and grateful to be entrusted with the presidency during such a pivotal time. Recognizing the weight of this responsibility, I am committed to fulfilling the promises I made to our members and carefully considering the path forward for our Society.
Last year, I pledged to promote balanced development in pharmaceutical sciences, respond to emerging trends and future demands, and establish policies for the sustainable advancement of pharmacy. As our Society approaches its 80th anniversary, I will strive to uphold its distinguished tradition while ensuring that our dedicated senior members, colleagues, and young pharmaceutical scientists can adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape and meet new societal demands. I kindly ask for your continued interest and guidance so that your valuable insights can be reflected in our initiatives, making our Society even more effective and impactful.
As we embark on this new year, my team and I are fully committed to pursuing a balanced, future-oriented, and sustainable path for pharmacy. We will work tirelessly to guide PSK toward greater progress and excellence.
Lastly, I sincerely ask for your continued support, participation, and dedication, which serve as the driving force behind our Society.
