Postdoctoral positions in structural biology are available at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research (IBBR) at University of Maryland. IBBR(https://www.ibbr.umd.edu) is located in Rockville, Maryland within short distance from Washington, DC with its many cultural opportunities.

Research focus will be on determination of atomic resolution structures of proteins by both cryo electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography. A number of projects are available for successful candidate to work on, in areas of molecular recognition, cancer biology, enzymology, vaccine design, structural virology and infectious disease.

Prior experience in structural biology is not required, and knowledge of methods of protein expression, purification and biophysical characterization will be considered a plus.

Salary for postdoctoral associates on NIH awards is follow the minimum salary.
