Welcome message

It is my great pleasure and an honor to cordially invite you to the 2022 Spring International Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Korea (PSK), which will be held through hybrid system, face-to-face and online streaming on April 21st-22nd, 2022.

Under the vision of "the K-Pharm leading PSK", this 2022 Spring Conference will help to integrate our vision and mission for drug discovery and development in the new normal era after the current corona pandemic with the theme of "Challenging journey for New Normal Industry-Academy Research Convergence".

This conference consists of 23 sessions on drug developments, including medical cannabis, herbal medicine, and cutting-edge technologies in biologics and microbiome-based pharmabiotics. This conference will provide the cutting edge information on the trending topics in academic, industrial, and clinical aspects of pharmaceutical sciences. I proudly introduce the plenary lectures by Dr. Lak Shin Jeong (Professor at Seoul National University and CEO of Futuremedicine Co., Ltd.) and Dr. Jong Koo Kang (CEO of Biotoxtech Co., Ltd.). They have done plentiful pioneering works in the field of medicinal chemistry and non-clinical TOX study for new drug development.

I humbly expect that these scientific presentations and education courses for undergraduate students will give all conference participants opportunity to deepen knowledge of new drug development and pharmaceutical sciences. Although the COVID-19 Omicron virus infection is still prevalent, it seems that the end is in sight. The Fall PSK conference will be held in Jeju, and we look forward to a time where all members can meet face-to-face and talk to each other.

Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the PSK members and sincerely hope that you will enjoy the exciting experience by conference website or joining at the convention. Your participation will positively contribute to the consolidation of the mission of the PSK and thereby to the philosophy underlying it.
