Welcome message

It is my great pleasure and honor to extend greetings and warm invitation to attend 2022 Fall International Convention of The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea (PSK), titled as “Challenging Journey for New Normal Academy-Industry-Research Convergence”. This year’s conference will be held face-to-face from October 19th to the 21st in the prestigious Jeju Shinhwa World.

This year’s conference will start with a plenary lecture presented by the esteemed director Seong-jin Kim on the topic of “The Story of TGF-β; from Biology to Clinical Development”. Professor Bong Jin Lee will be presenting the 2022 Ohdang Award lecture on the topic of “Discovery of Antibiotics based on the Structure of Pathogenic Bacteria Toxin-Antitoxin System”. The conference also includes 23 symposia and one special symposium, highlighting new breakthroughs and advances in the pharmaceutical research and drug discovery & development. Additionally, this year we proudly introduce various exciting presentations and posters presented by our young scientists. Collectively, the lectures and poster sessions will present up-to-date information on various pharmaceutical research disciplines, open-up initiatives, and problems, strengthening cooperation, networks, and international collaborations among PSK members and researchers from across the world.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all PSK members and sincerely hope that you will enjoy the exciting experience by visiting the conference website or attending the convention. Your participation will help to strengthen the PSK's mission and, as a result, the philosophy that underpins it. This is the first year the Travel Awards are being implemented as an incentive for our young scientists.

Jeju island is a very accessible and lovely location for attendees. Just a short distance from the Convention Center are a broad variety of breathtaking landscapes, cultural attractions, and sporting events. In general, the PSK 2022 Fall International Convention will be present an excellent opportunity for discussing and sharing of pharmaceutical innovation ideas.
